Skye with Kathryn and Bailey
 
Kathryn of Trotwood adopted brindle girl Bailey in April.  At the time, Bailey had the company of little mixed breed dog Rocky.  After Rocky's sudden passing several months later, Bailey mourned him and clearly needed a buddy, so Kathryn tried fostering to see if that would help Bailey, and it definitely did.  Eventually we found the right fit with beautiful black female Gena Rowlands, who is now called Skye.  The two girls get lots of walks together and get along well.  Skye is still figuring out life with an indoor cat (unavailable for the photo), but the future looks bright for the family.
