Irontown
Feb 21, 2012
Irontown, now Bengal is living in Mason with Heidi, Mike, Brandy, Brogan (adopted October 28, 2011) and a sweet cat.
Heidi and Mike fostered for us the end of last year and was anxious for another foster dog.
Heidi helped us bath the new dogs from WV and asked to foster Irontown.
a connection was made then and WELL, they FLUNKED fostering!
They only had Irontown less than a week when they decided to add him to their family.
Sound familiar? Sometimes it's just meant to be!!

Diesel
Adopted 2/19/12
Yes, Diesel is a PUPPY!
He was mis-treated by his mom at the kennel because he was the runt of the litter.
She threw him against the wall causing a minor leg injury.
When Heather and I went to pick up dogs last week from the farm in West Virginia, the kennel owner asked if we'd be interested in finding him a home.
Heather convinced me to bring him back saying she'd foster him until a home was found.
WELL before we got to the Ohio border she had called Jason and asked if they could keep him.
He said yes if Ninja and Lexi got along.
DONE DEAL!!
Puppies have only come along 4 times in 10 years, so if you want a puppy, you'll have a long wait!!!
Hope you all get to meet him soon.

WV's Gale
Adopted 2/19/12
This black beauty is home now in West Chester with Melanie, Terry and Mercedes.
Mercedes was adopted from GAGC in 2004 and the family adopted Gracie just 7 months later.

I think he likes his new BED! This couple was very excited to add Jupiter to their family and he is lucky to be HOME!--

that. Flyer is a Velcro boy who will get lots of love and attention in his
new home.

Vinnie with Chuck
PG's Versatility, known as Vinnie, has been lovingly fostered by Dayton
couple Chuck and Teresa (not available for the photo) for months. They were
surprised when he repeatedly didn't seem to be a good fit with likely
prospective families. We know now it's because Vinnie had decided long ago
he was already HOME. He officially joins greyhound housemates Zena,
Cambria, Esai and delightful mixed breed Iris, and will be loved and adored
for the rest of his days.

Harriet is home with Kyle, Ashley, & Buck

Stella with Kathy and Basia
It's a familiar story - a dog starts as a foster and ends up as part of the
family. White and black Stella (race name Get the Job Done) joined Kathy's
pack on New Year's Day as the first GAGC adoption of 2012. Stella is
pictured with her new best girlfriend Basia. Like Basia before her, Stella
was shy and very submissive at first but gained confidence daily. Now the
two girls happily charge around the house together while the seniors in the
pack stay out of their way.
Adopted January 1, 2012

Muffitt with PJ and Mars
Eleven year old red and white Muffitt Onapaw was recently surrendered by an
owner who could no longer care for her. PJ volunteered to foster her, but
changed that decision to adoption almost immediately. Muffitt's health and

alpha dog of her pack. PJ has been involved in greyhound adoption and
