Greyhound Pets of America Indianapolis' Board of Director's cordially invites you and your member's,  to attend our Annual Picnic Sunday September 12th.  Our picnic is open to all greyhounds and their owners! 
 
Last year's event was a huge success with over 20 vendors and hundreds of greyhounds and their families!
 
We are VERY excited that this year's event will include Guest Speaker Dr. Guillermo Couto, Director of the Ohio State Univerisity Greyhound Health and Wellness Program, as well as, very Special Guest,  Rory Goree,  Greyhound Pets of America National President!
 
This is an indoor & outdoor event and will be held regardless of weather!
 
There will be a huge Silent Auction, Straw Draw, Catered Lunch, raffles, Greyhound Games, and over 30 vendors!  So Much fun packed into one GREYT DAY!  We have something for everyone!

Join our “STEPS FOR PETS” Walk Team and we will receive $5 for each walker on our team!

WHAT: Steps For Pets/Benefiting the UCAN Non-Profit Spay/Neuter Clinic
AND GAGC!

WHEN: Sunday, September 19th (rain or shine)
10-11 AM Check-In
11 AM Walk Begins (1.5 miles or as short as you’d like)
10-2 PM Fun-Filled Festivities

WHERE: Sawyer Point, Downtown Cincinnati

WHY: Raise money for the UCAN Non-Profit Spay/Neuter Clinic, which helps to reduce pet overpopulation and resulting euthanasia by providing low cost spay/neuter surgery to dogs and cats in Cincinnati, Northern Kentucky and Eastern Indiana.

COST: Preregister for our team www.StepsForPets.org.
The cost is $20 (we will receive $5 for each walker on our team!) Please note on the registration form that you are walking for GAGC.
All registered walkers receive a free t-shirt.

CELEBRITY GUEST HOST FOR THE EVENT IS PAULA TOTI

Bring the whole family and your pet to this fun-filled event! Check-in starts at 10 AM and the 1.5 mile (or shorter) walk along the river begins at 11 AM. After the walk, visit the pet photo booth and face painters, enter your pet in the silly dog contests, shop with our vendors, enjoy the food and music, and take a chance on winning $500 with a Big Money Raffle ticket!

Please note these rules if you bring your dog to the event:

* All dogs must be on non-retractable leashes and kept under the control of an adult at all times.
* All dogs must have up-to-date vaccinations and rabies shots.
* Dog water will be available in community water bowls.
* Dog owners must clean up after their pet; poop mitts will be provided.
* Unruly or aggressive dogs are not permitted and will be asked to leave the event.
