March 7 - Yankee Candle Fundraising

The Yankee Candle Fundraising drive will be starting March 7th.  The catalogs and order forms will be at the Meet & Greets.  Many of the items in the catalog are not available in the stores. The catalog can also be seen online at www.yankeecandlefundraising.com.

If you can't make your local M&G, you can order from Denise Neu online at dneu@fuse.net or call at 513-474-5909 or 513-218-9934 and snailmail a check.  Checks should be made out to GAGC.  Our group gets 40% of the profits.  Last time we made almost $1000 for the dogs.  Let's try to at least double that this time!!
Mother's Day is coming and candles make greyt gifts.  This catalog also has plants, seeds and bulbs. Buying the candles through our fundraiser only costs 7 cents more than  buying them in the store.

So buy until it hurts. Remember it's all for the pups!!!

March 27, 2010 Mini Heart Marathon

10:00 to 5:00   GAGC has been invited to participate with a booth to display our dogs and information about the breed.  We're permitted to have 6 dogs in attendance at one time.  If you'd like to come and work the booth contact Brenda at brpennix@aol.com to schedule a time to attend.  Located at Duke Energy Center in Cincinnati.

April 23 - 25, 2010 Greyhounds in Gettysburg

Hello all fellow fans of Greyhounds in Gettysburg from the GIG Planning Committee.  Just a quick note to let you all know about our new website.  The address is www.greyhoundingettysburg.com .  Please go and take a look at our new site.  There are already a couple of updates for you to check out.  Most of the hotel information (rates, fees and room availability) for 2010 still needs to be verified, but we have updated the info about America's Best Value Inn, 1863 Inn Gettysburg (formerly the Battlefield Holiday Inn) and the Country Inn and Suites.   Vendor registration will start soon, and regular registration will begin in January, just like in the past.  MARK YOUR CALENDARS:  April 23-25, 2010, for Greyhounds in Gettysburg.  The hounds are counting on seeing you all there!
