Greyhound Adoption of Greater Cincinnati, Inc. is a
non-profit organization dedicated to finding good homes for retired
racing greyhounds. We are also dedicated to encouraging community
awareness of the availability of racing greyhounds for adoption, the
suitability of greyhounds as companions, and the consequences that may
befall racing greyhounds who are unable to find homes upon retirement.

Our organization is run by a group of volunteers
who...
 | Place retired greyhounds in loving homes in the Greater
Cincinnati and south/central Dayton areas. |
| Spread the word about greyhounds at
"Meet and Greets" at local pet stores. |
| Educate the public about greyhounds by setting up booths at
local fairs, picnics, parades, and other events. |
| Share the gentle and loving nature of greyhounds at local
schools and nursing homes. |
Before G.A.G.C.
places a greyhound in your home, the dog is examined by a
veterinarian, spayed or neutered, vaccinated, checked for heartworm, teeth
cleaned, wormed, and groomed.
Our mission is to strive for the best quality
placements. We focus on being small and doing things right.
We recognize that we cannot save all the greyhounds in the world, but we
can make a difference to the ones we touch. That is why our focus
will be on quality of placement, not quantity of placements.
