More of our G.A.G.C. family members!

Sol Atomic with Tim and Meg

Sol is one of three dogs who came to us from Florida earlier this month.
Not only did he have to face the cold, but snow and ice as well.  He took it
all in stride, and showed Meg and Tim of Dayton that he even knows how to
play with toys.  This BIG boy just wants lots of affection, and he's in the
right home for that.  To top it all off, he was adopted on Meg's birthday!
Adopted February 23, 2008!

Nebo with Amber

Nebo's forever home is with Amber and Ben in North College Hill.  Brownie their lab mix was thrilled with having a new friend; she tried SO hard to show him around.  In the yard she wanted to play, but he was not real thrilled with the icy snow-covered yard.  After arriving he realized the big fluffy bed was his and has already made himself right at home!
Adopted February 22, 2008!

Bruno with Suzanne and Steve

Guthrie, now Bruno, is in his forever home with Suzanne and Steve in Montgomery, who were thrilled with him.  He was not crazy about the icy covered snow in his yard, but pottied where he was supposed to.  He made himself right at home and immediately started playing with his new FROG toy.  This boy is gorgeous and will be VERY happy with his new family!
Adopted February 22, 2008!

Kobe Bean with Shannon and Ian

This boy had quite a shock coming overnight from warm Melbourne, Florida to a chili Cincinnati.  But he was quick to adapt to his brand new home and big fenced yard.  Kobe is now residing in Amelia with Shannon, Ian, and Calvin the cat!
Adopted February 9, 2008!

Frew with Justin and Cynthia

WV's Frew has been adopted by Justin and Cynthia on Jan 18th.  He will be sharing his home in Covedale with two kitties.  Frew is a very happy boy and loves to be with people.  He opted for retirement at a young age, only 2 1/2, over the rigors of racing.  He was just too fun-loving to take it seriously, so now he looks forward to a happy life of fun and games!
Adopted January 18, 2008!

Teddy with Tal, Steve, Danielle and Adina

After losing their beloved greyhound, Adam, to bone cancer in September, Tal, Steve, Danielle, and Adina needed time for their hearts to heal a bit.  But then the time came when they needed a new friend to become a loving member of their family.  So up stepped Seth, now called Teddy.
And the name fits, as he is a big, lovable, and playful boy!
Adopted January 4, 2008!

Jordan with Lynn, Leonard Laenalkekai, Puanani and Hapa

What a personality on this boy!  WV's Jordan's forever home is now in Pleasant Run, with Lynn, Leonard, Laenaokekai, Puanani and their cocker, Hapa.  Jordan will be learning his command words in Hawaiian and will love the attention he'll be getting!  When he met Hapa, she barked and Jordan jumped back as if to say "What's that!".  Once he checked her out, he realized she was just a different kind of dog; he was fine and they will do well together!
Adopted December 27, 2007!

Haywood with Jake, Sandee and Steve

This lucky boy, WV's Haywood, now lives in Liberty Township with Jake, Sandee and Steve.  He won their hearts immediately.  Haywood is a very good look'n boy and is going to LOVE his new home and family.  He walked in the house as if to say "I'M HOME".  He is already playing with Jake in the yard and has made himself very comfortable.  We're sure he won't be the only greyhound in this family!
Adopted December 27, 2007!

Baisden with Curt and PJ

Baisden joins littermate Boomer and eight other greyhounds plus two large cats in his new home in Springboro.  Curt and PJ started by fostering him, but that didn’t last long.  This handsome white and red boy felt right at home almost immediately, giving kisses to every new person he met.  With a huge fenced yard, a houseful of playmates and lots of love, he is one happy greyhound!
Adopted December 25, 2007!

Cairdwin with Becky, Tadhg, Francis and Phillip

Tiny Sydney’s Pride (center) now has the beautiful Gaelic name Cairdwin, which means “The Mother Goddess”.  She joins greyhound Tadhg (“poet”), Francis the border collie/retriever mix, and humans Becky and Phillip in her new home in Brookville.  This red fawn girl from Florida started as a foster but quickly established herself as a much-loved member of the family!
