More of our G.A.G.C. family members!

Lily with Jennifer and Jackson

Jennifer offered to foster one of the 7 dogs that GAGC arranged to get from the Melbourne, Florida track in September.  Lily raced with the name Goodbye Darling.  She is shown here on the right, next to Jackson, Jennifer's 12 year old greyhound.
Lily quickly worked her magic to convince Jennifer and Jackson that she would be a wonderful new addition to the family.  The family resides in Oakley.  Jennifer made the adoption official at the Greyhound Gathering on Sept. 30!
Adopted September 30, 2007!

Princess and Kari

Princess was a very lucky girl to be spotted in a shelter in Troy by one of our caring adopters.  She was adopted by Kari and Eric from Colerain Twp.  Kari is shown here at the Greyhound Gathering with her new pride and joy!
Adopted September 30, 2007!

Nick with Denise, Doug, Ryan and Claire

Bohemian Nix, renamed Nick, was one of the Florida rescues adopted at the Greyhound Gathering on Sept. 30, 2007 by Denise, Doug and children Ryan and Claire.  Nick will be enjoying his new family and home in Anderson Twp!
Adopted September 30, 2007!

Becca with Mark, Jan and Gage

Mark and Jan of Oakley adopted greyhound Gage not long ago.  He was such a charmer that he convinced his owners to adopt a girlfriend for him.
Becca is the new girl in town!
Adopted September 29, 2007!

Burnsie with Kelly, Bob, Leo and Aliza

WV’s Burns, now Burnsie, has found his happy home with Kelly and Bob of Huber Heights.  Leo, the male cat, came out to greet him for a moment and explain who was in charge.  Aliza, the little female cat, decided to wait and see what to expect from this handsome red boy.  Burnsie will be getting lots of love and attention from his new family!
Adopted September 27, 2007!

Lady Kat with Debbie and Duke

Lady Kat now lives in Fairfield with Debbie and Duke.  Debbie was asked to foster Lady Kat to see how Duke liked having a friend in the house.  WELL... here is another example of what fostering is like; she's there to stay!  Debbie adopted Duke in April of 2007 and has fallen in love with the breed; she couldn't resist this little girl's personality.  Lady Kat is the liter mate to Power Kat who was adopted last week!
Adopted September 23, 2007!

Kurt with Russ and Suzi

Task Kurt is a Florida dog and has found his forever home in Colerain Township, with Suzi and Russ.  The couple lost their first greyhound two years ago and after seeing Kurt's picture fell instantly in love.  He will now have a huge yard to play in and will be very spoiled!
Adopted September 15, 2007!

Winnie Dee with Howard, June and Tigger

Dee's Castle, now called Winnie Dee, has found her forever home in Greenhills with Howard, June and Tigger, after a long journey from Florida.  Tigger was adopted from GAGC on September 2nd, 2004.  He was thrilled to see Winnie enter his home.
Weighing only 55 lbs, Winnie is a very small greyhound, and next to Tigger she looks even smaller.  After a minute in the yard's green grass, she rolled on her back and knew she was home!
She will bet getting lots of love and attention!
Adopted September 15, 2007!

Hemmie with Nicole, Josh and Moose
Mental Lee, now called Hemmie, has joined Nicole, Josh and Italian greyhound, Moose to their family in Lebanon.  Nicole was like most of us - she wanted the dog quickly, but since Mental Lee was one of our Florida dogs, it took a while; but the wait was worth it!
Adopted September 15, 2007!

Juneau with Ed and Amy
This pretty black girl raced with the name Power Kat.  Ed and Amy of Covington thought that Juneau would be more appropriate, as they were on vacation in Alaska when they made the decision to add a third greyhound to the family.  And then Juneau begins with a "J", and that is consistent with the names of their other two black greyhounds, Jersey and Jetson!
Adopted September 14, 2007!
